Qualifications & experience
With a background in fashion & textiles and interior design, I bring a different design outlook to your garden. I have RHS training at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. This foundation, coupled with my membership in the Society of Garden & Landscape Designers and my Diploma in Garden Design from The British Academy of Garden Design, ensures I can give you a dynamic, knowledgeable and eco-friendly approach to each of my projects.
Year-round garden transformation
During our initial consultation, we will chat through any ideas you may have, likes or dislikes, colours, garden styles, themes and what you want from your garden. After this meeting I will put together a written brief that will suggest what I feel is best for the space, based on your requirements. Once this has been agreed further design details will be created, along with a 2D hand-drawn sketch of the design.
Bespoke plant selections
With a deep-rooted understanding of plants and their preferences, I carefully select species that will thrive in your garden’s specific soil and environmental conditions.
Recognising the importance of the right plant in the right place, I consider factors such as mature sizes and growth habits to create a balanced ecosystem. Whether prefer fragrant rose garden or beds for cut flowers, my designs always focus on sustainability and supporting wildlife.
